Broadening cultural horizons was\u00a0 tempting and made her decide to become\u00a0 part of\u00a0 the Polish flood in to the UK. She set her foot in London one summer holiday that changed her life forever. After graduating as an architect she moved to London where she\u2019s lived ever since.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keith<\/strong> from Fife in Scotland didn\u2019t find his life at home too exciting so went off to Australia. After one year he couldn&#8217;t extend his visa\u00a0 and had to head back to the UK. Regretted it at first but then on his way back to Scotland he\u00a0 stopped to visit London, somebody walked into his life and changed his mind completely. Keith has never made it back to Scotland\u2026! Well&#8230;he has but only for holidays.<\/p>\n<p>When in London for summer break, Ewa decided to improve her English and get used to the language. What\u2019s the best place to do that, she thought? In a\u00a0 pub! Where else? She ended up at London  Bridge and walked into a pub where she had an interview and later got the job as a barmaid. And there was Keith, assistant manager at the time\u2026 and there was a picnic at Greenwich Park and there was wine and there were walks in London\u2026\u2026\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026and there was a general manager in the pub who told him: \u201cdon\u2019t screw your own crew\u201d\u2026Thanks, Ron. There\u2019s a lot more to it than that! \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>Ewa, now a fully qualified architect, works for an architectural practice in London. She is the one wearing trousers at home because she didn&#8217;t want Keith to be the boss both at work and outside it. That would be too much! There has to be some power balance in life \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Keith, even though Scottish, doesn\u2019t wear a skirt however! Used to be bossy at work as any manager should be but a fabulous partner at home putting up with the power balance \ud83d\ude09 These days however things change everywhere and Keith has also changed his job and has become an estate agent! He&#8217;s not his own boss anymore so maybe he should get some power back at home&#8230;&#8230;.?
